LVAC rig 67B2 was partially funded
by a gift from AP Farm in Cross River.

Lewisboro VAC was founded
in 1977 and was funded exclusively from the generous donations
of our residents and friends. We are not part of any town, state
or local government agency. Lewisboro Volunteer Ambulance Corps,
consistent with other local volunteer ambulance corps units in
our area, seeks insurance reimbursement for emergency ambulance
transport service. Importantly, no one will be denied emergency
medical transport because of lack of insurance.
While insurance reimbursement
helps to offset a portion of our costs, LVAC is still dependent
on contributions from our friends and neighbors through our letters
of appeal and community fund raisers. Funds raised are
reinvested into equipment, training and other increasingly costly
supplies needed to deliver high quality emergency services, such
as the acquisition of major capital projects including a new
Ambulance, electronic power cots and automated CPR devices.
LVAC gratefully acknowledges
the outstanding support received from the community since its
founding.
